Emails have been sent to President Biden and FTC staff.
Federal Trade Commission Commissioner Noah Phillips emailed his letter of resignation to President Joe Biden on Monday, sending a copy of the email to the commission as part of his announcement. The timeline for his departure was not laid out, but will likely be in the fall. The commission is currently led by Chair Lina Khan, who has taken a tough stance toward corporate consolidations.
“Serving the American people by working with my extraordinary Commission colleagues and the incredible career staff at the agency to protect American consumers has been the honor of my lifetime,” Commissioner Phillips wrote in his email. “I have learned so much from all of you over the last four years, and am inspired by the commitment you bring to the incredible work of the FTC.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Chair Lina Khan as she presides over the FTC.
- For Commissioner Phillips as he finishes his time with the commission.
- For the president and his advisors as they consider individuals to fill the FTC vacancy.
